Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital houses an on-site pharmacy to give our clients convenient and direct access to a wide range of preventatives and medications their pets may need.

We have the latest development in X-ray technology which provides clear, high-quality digital images to give us the best possible view of internal organs and bones.

We love our patients, and ensuring their comfort is our number 1 priority!

We understand that vet visits can be stressful for our patients, so we do everything we can to give lots of love and attention to help create as pleasant an experience as possible!

This good boy is getting ready to be weighed before his wellness exam. Nutrition and weight control is just as important for pets as it is for humans!

We keep wait times to a minimum. If there is a short wait, have a seat in our comfortable and bright waiting area!

Our practice manager, Lusie, examines a sample using a microscope in our convenient, fully equipped in-house lab. We are able to perform urinalysis, parasite testing, fungal cultures, blood work, and much more.

At Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital, we understand the idea of your beloved pet undergoing surgery can be stressful and scary. Our clinical team will be here for you and your pet every step of the way, providing education around the surgery, offering comfort through the process, and extending the care and compassion you both deserve.

Our facility has a spacious parking lot to accommodate all of our clients and their pets.

When the weather is nice, we have a quaint outdoor space where you can walk your pup!

Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in 2021 and is proud to be a state-of-the-art, full-service veterinary hospital. We are a low-stress handling, Fear-Free Certified, and Cat-Friendly Practices® accredited hospital treating the dogs and cats of the Cainhoy historic district in Charleston, SC, and surrounding areas. Our services include wellness care, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, parasite control, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, dental, surgery including spay and neuter, orthopedic surgery, ACL reconstruction, pain management, and more! We are open six days a week with same-day and urgent care availability. We look forward to meeting you and your pet!
